Mayer Soares - Seu Lugar
Mayer Soares is a composer and multi-instrumentalist, having the bass as his main instrument, with a strong influence in the 60s, but with an eye on contemporary music, especially brazilian music. From the state of São Paulo, who adopted Florianópolis-SC as his city, Mayer talks about personal experiences in his music.
"Amidst so much loneliness and uncertainty that social distancing can cause, dear people came to lighten everything up. And among so many important people who showed up, one of them was special to me, who inspired me in this song.
Recorded with the help of great friends and friends, "Seu Lugar" is the epitome of what I want during this quarantine: to be close to positive, yet realistic people in the middle of it all."

Marcelo Mayer - Canções Que Você Só Vai Ouvir Uma Vez (Album)
By Marcelo Mayer: Recorded without pretension, without money, without publicity and without support, with the exception of people who always believed in my work and gave that necessary push to make art in Brazil.
A record I loved making. It was born with the idea of a simple EP in the acoustic format and the songs grew. Walk through styles that I like and feel comfortable playing: blues, samba, folk, pop, waltz, chorinho.
I thank everyone involved in this project and especially those who support local music.

Tropikaô - Ladeira do Mar (EP)
Tropikaô is not a band, but a collective of music producers, bringing with them joint inventiveness as a working tool. With elements of electronic and acoustic music, added to regional spices and trip-hop culture, the collective seeks not only to be an audiovisual experience, but rather a vehicle of artistic activism. Our language is born precisely from this plurality, whether in the cities of São Paulo and Fortaleza, Brazil, adding their beauty and ills, or in the miscellany between sound, image and its possibilities, or in the musical construction itself, in the combination of melody and glitch. Tropikaô is our impression/expression of the world, from the tropical viewpoint.
